Henna helps seal in moisture and natural oils, enhances body, adds loads of shine, and makes hair silky soft. It helps soften highly textured, coarse curly hair, and its natural antifungal and antibacterial properties may help with dandruff, scaly scalp, and excess shedding.
Henna, Lawsonia inermis, is a desert flowering plant. The powdered leaves have been used since ancient times as a natural dye. The red pigment, lawsone, is a tannin found in the leaves of the henna plant which are naturally dried, crushed, and sifted. The pigments in henna bind with the keratin protein in hair and provide a permanent coating to the cuticle.
Coconut milk nourishes by providing natural moisture from the roots to the ends. The natural fatty acid profile of coconut milk has wonderful moisturizing properties that can help restore dry hair and scalp and act as a conditioner for damaged hair too. Coconut milk has been used by women in India to help prevent hair loss. It acts as a natural detangler and a great natural conditioner encouraging longer and thicker hair.
Babassu oil, a great hair care oil for thick or coarse curly hair, moisturizes and enhances hair strength and elasticity, for shiny, healthy-looking hair. Aloe helps condition, moisturize, and adds luster and manageability to their hair.
