One 7.5 oz dish block bar. (Due to the handmade and hand cut nature of this product, there will be imperfections, chips, fissures and roughness on the edges of the bar and rough variations on the surface, this is normal.)
Vegan ingredients. Fragrance-free. Cruelty-free.
Septic safe, greywater safe, biodegradable.
Made without palm oil.
Warning: This product is not meant to be cut. It is a very solid block. It is not able to be cut into smaller pieces safely.
How to use:
Scrape dishes to remove excess grease and food. Wet sponge, for plates, bowls and cups, and rub dish block® soap to create suds. (Repeat as needed to refresh suds.) Wash items and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water. We prefer warm water for best results. For pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer.
Using a strong scourer or scrubber exclusively on the block will wear it down faster than using a soft sponge or cloth.
Pro kitchen tip:
Use the same dish washing block® suds to clean your sink when it gets dirty, this can be used on porcelain, stainless, stone and glass sinks safely. We have seen customers use it to clean dirty & stained oven top surfaces as well!
No Tox Life was born from the desire to provide effective, vegan body and home care to help you live a cleaner, greener lifestyle. We are a local, family-run business and each product is handmade using the highest-quality ingredients we can find.
Sandee got interested in living a non-toxic lifestyle many decades ago. As a little girl, she experienced a bad reaction to the ingredients in a perfume that left red welts on her skin. As a teenager, she participated in the first annual Earth Day has been excited about living a natural lifestyle ever since.
In 2013, Sandee started experimenting with making soap and other bath & body products, doing hundreds of hours of testing and learning. Soapmaking and cosmetics formulation merged her passions, math, science and art. Initially she gave products as gifts for friends and family, with great feedback.
After heading to her local grocery store one day and reading the "natural" shampoo ingredients, she realized that it was full of harsh detergents that were causing her scalp issues. The idea of No Tox Life was born - helping people switch to a truly non-toxic lifestyle. In addition to being a certified woman-owned small business, No Tox Life is also a family business.
Sandee’s daughter Callie Milford is the co-founder and creative director of No Tox Life. She designs & formulates new products (along with Sandee), and directs the look of the brand, as well as managing sales to the hundreds of independent stores carrying the line.
We are a small but mighty team hand-making products and keeping the operation going!
This is my first time using this product. So far, for the few times I've used it, it seems quite good. Cleans well. Is very environmentally friendly and super simple to use.
